As a wedding photographer in Denver and Boulder Colorado for the past twelve years, I have found great joy in creating long lasting relationships with my clients. 

I find it incredible to see people grow from a high school senior, to a wedding and then on to maternity portraits, new babies, their brothers and sisters and back to senior portraits again!

I grew up in Illinois and headed west in 1989.  With a background in business, customer service and general arts,  I learned the many different aspects of photography as an art and as a business.  Combining the two has lead me to a career that I absolutely love!

Photographing a wedding or a newborn baby is an honor in which I get to capture life's moments and commit them to memory through candid imagery. Providing these images to my clients is very rewarding and it is personally fulfilling to be creative in my everyday life.

I am a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), Professional Photographers of America (PPA), accredited with Special Needs Kids Photography of America (SKPA), Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Bereavement Photography (NILMDTS) and am an Emergency Animal Rescue Services Volunteer (EARS). I have had my work published in TheKnot Wedding Magazine, Confetti Wedding Magazine, Rocky Mountain Dog Magazine and Kicks Magazine.

Whether it is a wedding, a pregnancy, the birth of a new child and all of the milestones that follow, or a family portrait, a photograph is a visual record of a moment in time. We refer back to these precious images to remember who we are and who we once were. And these same images will teach future generations about their own history.

My assistant photographer, who is also my sister, works with me in an unobtrusive manner to capture the true spirit of the moment and provide you with a collection of images that are spontaneous, creative and timeless works of art.

And, we enjoy every moment to the fullest!

I also have a passion for old photographs, of not just my own family, but of other families as well. Not only do I collect old photographs, but some of my clients have me restore, organize and reprint their family photo's to preserve their own history.

Animal Rescue New Orleans - ARNO  (www.animalrescueneworleans.org)  -  This shelter was founded when Hurricane Katrina ravished the New Orleans area.  Their goal is to rescue, feed, provide care and shelter for pets and stray animals lost or left behind in the storm.  My sister and I volunteered at the shelter in May 2007 and also documented events during our visit.  Our photographs are currently moving through various galleries in Boulder and all proceeds are being donated to ARNO.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep -  (www.nowisleep.org).  NILMDTS provides bereavement photography to parents of a newborn, stillborn or preterm infant that will not survive.  Through sensitive and artistic photography, we provide parents with meaningful images in which to remember their loved  one and help in their healing.

Longmont Humane Society - (www.longmonthumane.org)  I provide photography services for Longmont Humane Society Events and assist with dog walking and within the spay/neuter clinic.
